Yonge Wellington (Downtown) Corridor Study

The Town of Aurora initiated the Yonge and Wellington (Downtown) Corridor Study in March 2009. The Planning Partnership has been retained to prepare the Study in association with their strategic advisors from Poulos & Chung (transportation engineers) and ERA Architects (heritage architects). The team from Planning Partnership has completed similar studies for urban centres such as Oshawa, Nepean, Richmond Hill, Belleville, Halifax and Lethbridge.

The work program is organized in four phases that will be completed through a process that engages the entire community. The four phases are: Inventory and Analysis, Options, Corridor Report and Secondary Plan.
